HKC offers Associate Memberships for new members and following one year as an associate that person becomes a Regular Member. A person who remains a member in good standing for thirty consecutive years then becomes a Life member. We also offer Honorary memberships in recognition of valued service to our Club.

The following are driving instructions for the Halifax Kennel Club meetings.
Basinview Community School is located on Basinview Drive in Bedford.
If you are coming from the city on the Bedford Highway, turn LEFT at the lights at the bottom of Hammonds Plains Road. Turn RIGHT at the next set of lights. This is Basinview Drive. Proceed along this street to Basinview School (on your right). Parking is behind the school. Entrance to the building is in front of the parking area. Go down the entrance hallway to the cafeteria. It will be on your left.
If you are coming from Dartmouth or other areas that link with the Bedford Highway, turn RIGHT at the lights at the bottom of Hammonds Plains Road. Turn RIGHT at the next set of lights.This is Basinview Drive. Proceed along this street to Basinview School (on your right). Parking is behind the school. Enterance to the buiding is in front of the parking area. Go down the entrance hallway to the cafeteria. It will be on your left.
